What is your purpose in music?
What motivates you?

This will sound very outdated
but one of the things that
I'm looking for is beauty.
Please don't feed me sugar!
Sometimes in most unexpected
environmentsthere are these tiny
magical moments that thrill me.
This could be a color, a silence,
a harmonic event...

What are your hobbies
and passions besides music?

I love reading and hiking
in the mountains.

Which other genres do you play
or listen to and how do you
incorporate them in your
contemporary music practice?

At home I like playing romantic
repertoire, opera reductions, etc.
I enjoy listening and playing sym-
phonic music. Renaissance music,
folk music, ... Conscious or not,
it slips in for sure!

What is your most cherished
Nemø anecdote or memory?

I remember a performance where
we got lost but kept on going
and had a great energy on stage.
I was panicking a bit, yet in one
way or another we managed to
end the piece exactly together.
That moment of connection
was amazing!

Which book are you taking
with you on a longer trip?

The list of books I want to read
only gets longer!
There's so much to discover
and the more you've read,
the more you want to read!
If I had to pick just one book to
read again, it would be 'In Search
of Lost Time' by Proust. Great for
a (very) long trip.

Tell us a secret that nobody knows!
I've been to a soccer game.
Don't tell anyone!
